Kimono Pen Tray

A beautiful Pentray for your treasured fountain pen to rest in.

For generations, Kiri(paulownia) wood has been used in Japan to make chests and drawers for kimono. Inspired by this long-standing connection between paulownia and kimono, we created a pen tray that gives these two traditional materials a new purpose.
Each tray is crafted from Kiri wood, with a bottom insert made from kimono fabric. With a variety of kimono patterns to choose from, as well as three sizes and four finishes, each combination allows you to create a truly unique pen tray of your own.
The woodworking is carried out by a long-established Japanese workshop with more than 80 years of history. The result is a pen tray that is not only beautiful, but also sturdy and durable.
